The UELC Fellowships in New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Charlotte offer a cohort model of job-embedded professional learning programming designed to grow leaders’ capacities for current and future leadership roles within their current organizations. The UELC Fellowship experiences are designed to meet both strategic and emerging organizational needs for the growth of leaders. Teachers College faculty and UELC expert facilitators customize content and programming in response to participant and district needs.

The application process for the 2017-2018 UELC Fellowships involves completing an initial online application (below). UELC staff will follow up with applicants to request a current resume, supervisor’s recommendation letter, and completion of a StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment.

All accepted applicants will be asked to submit a resume and supervisor's recommendation and complete a leadership self-assessment: StrengthsFinder 2.0. Fellowship fees will be collected after applicants are registered and supervisor approval has been confirmed.

Payments can be made by credit card, check, or PO.

The UELC offers programs through the Continuing Professional Studies at Teachers College, Columbia University.

Cancellation Policy:

Continuing Professional Studies at Teachers College, Columbia University will provide a full (100%) reduction of charges if the written request to withdraw is received at least 30 days prior to the first scheduled session. Given the demand for this program and the work entailed in its preparation, if the cancellation is reported within 30 days or fewer before the program starts, only 50% of the total charges will be credited. Registrants who wish to withdraw on or after the start date of a program or course will not receive any reduction of charges.

Registrants who fail to attend and do not cancel prior to the event will be liable for full charges for the event.

NOTE: All refund requests must be made in writing to the Continuing Professional Studies at Teachers College, Columbia University. Refunds will be made in the payment method received. Please allow 4-6 weeks for check refunds to be processed and 3-5 days for credit card refunds.
